As industries across Africa increasingly demand accurate, cost-effective testing solutions, Hanna Instruments is positioning itself as a key player in meeting these needs. The privately owned scientific equipment company is showcasing its technologies at analytica Lab Africa 2025, with a focus on accessible, user-friendly instruments for a wide range of industries.

Speaking to Engineering News, Hanna Instruments sales and business development manager Saadiya Sewnarain said the company aims to make high-quality analytical testing simple and affordable for industries including laboratories, food and beverage, hydroponics, aquaculture, drinking water and wastewater.

Hanna is globally recognised for its expertise in electro-analytical instrumentation, offering equipment to measure critical parameters such as pH, ORP, EC, ISE, turbidity, chlorine and dissolved oxygen. Its product range includes benchtop meters, portable devices, testers, and process units, as well as monitors, dataloggers, photometers, thermometers, refractometers, spectrophotometers, and titrators. The company also provides specialised product lines tailored to specific markets, including solutions for the beer, wine, marine, pool and agriculture sectors.

The company’s presence at analytica Lab Africa at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Johannesburg reflects its commitment to providing reliable, easy-to-use testing tools that meet both industry standards and budget requirements across the continent.
